investLogan Chair Steve Greenwood has today announced the appointment of Medy Hassan as investLogan’s new CEO.
Mr Hassan steps into the role with a vast understanding of investLogan following five months as Acting CEO and more than two years as a Board Director of investLogan, supported by 25 years of experience in private equity, property and construction.
Mr Greenwood said the Board was pleased to welcome someone of such high calibre and with extensive experience to lead this period of growth for investLogan.
“We have great confidence in Medy and know that he will continue the strong leadership of investLogan and deliver the diversified investment and development goals of the organisation,” Mr Greenwood said.
“The role aligns with Medy’s professional passion and distinguished company track record of generating excellent commercial investment opportunities that are equally beneficial socially and for the broader community.
“He has a strong profile and a positive influence in the property development and investment industry, and it absolutely the right person for the job.”
Mr Hassan said he was thrilled to be taking on the role in what is a very exciting time of growth for investLogan.
“As a previous Board Director of investLogan, I’ve been privileged to be involved in the conception and growth of the business, and have seen firsthand the opportunities that the organisation brought to the people of Logan,” Mr Hassan said.
“investLogan faces an exciting, yet strategically crucial period in which we are seeing the fruits of investLogan’s property developments and have the opportunity to broaden our horizons into new areas of investment.
“We have a number of significant projects in the works, including The York in Beenleigh, a mixed-business commercial precinct in Berrinba and community housing in Marsden. I look forward to seeing the delivery of each of these projects this year.
“In addition to the delivery of the important property projects, we are positioned to deliver immense value to the people of Logan as we work with the Logan City Council to invest in and attract new business to the area.”
