Our Executive Team

The executive team is led by CEO, Medy Hassan. Collectively the team brings extensive experience, knowledge and expertise across many industries, including Property, Development, Investment & Finance all supporting and driving the achievement of our corporate strategy, values and vision. 

The team objectives are to:

  1. deliver economic returns to the city and act as a catalyst for further investment by others
  2. Achieve benefits for the city by undertaking sustainable and value adding activities
  3. ensure a strong focus on achieving excellence in outcome delivery;
  4. focus on outstanding service to our Shareholder, Stakeholders and community;

Medy Hassan

Chief Executive Officer

Medy Hassan OAM is the CEO of investLogan and is an expert in private equity, property and the construction industry. His passion is collaborating to drive innovation, global excellence and sustainable, environmentally beneficial outcomes. His role sees him managing the company’s overall operations and he is driven by the delivery of investLogan’s strategic ambitions.

Medy is the Founder of Haus Holdings, Cofounder of Vitae Capital and Chairman of GenCap Wealth. His passion is applying commercial strategies to maximise improvements in financial, social, and environmental wellbeing. His companies are driven by his desire to challenge the ‘reimagine paradigm’ for current and future endeavours and specialises in social enterprise, equity, property, and venture markets.

He is a recognised national champion of diversity, inclusion and belonging. With 25 years global and national experience working across all tiers of government, corporate institutions, and private investors, he has overseen $3B of investments and transactions. In 2021 he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia, is a Fellow of the Royal Society and the Australian Institute of Building and Adjunct Professor across multiple Universities in Australia.

Kay Stenzel

Engagement, Community & Corporate Services Manager

With over 30 years experience in the corporate environment, Kay is highly skilled and experienced in business operations, executive support, communication, and engagement.

Kay has held corporate roles across property, financial services, retail and professional services sectors. Her experiences span, executive personal assistance, business operations, communication,  event management, administration, accounts, research, reporting and more.

Her role as Engagement, Community & Corporate Services Manager is focused on the growth of investLogan’s engagement & community profile, the seamless operation of corporate activities and supporting the executive team and in particular, the CEO and Board.

Kay actively promotes invetLogan’s values of inclusion, celebrating diversity and being community minded, while delivering on the aspirations to add value through sustainable projects that provide economic benefits to the city of logan.

Cameron McColl

Executive Manager Investment & Finance

With more than 20 years’ experience in finance, investment and development, Cameron is a CPA qualified accountant with previous clientele including those in private, listed, government and private equity sectors. Cameron’s extensive experience in private lending and property industry knowledge has seen him successfully initiate business opportunities such as joint ventures, mezzanine and senior debt financial investment. Cameron’s approach is results oriented, working on projects with partners who align with his core values whilst keeping a strategic focus that ensures all ventures stay at the forefront of the market.

In recent years, Cameron was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer at City of Brisbane Investment Corporation (CBIC), overseeing the broadening of CBIC’s investment mandates. He also established and managed private lending businesses for high net worth families.

With a unique and varied skillset in the property industry, Cameron’s wealth of knowledge at every stage of development has contributed to a number of industry awards. He is a member of the UDIA and is a highly sought-after speaker at industry events and professional development courses.

As Executive Manager of Investment and Finance, Cameron is eager to contribute to the Logan community through strategic alliances and creative thinking, aligning with investLogan’s mission of financial, social and community enrichment.

Leo Primus

Senior Development Manager

Leo holds vast executive management experience across acquisition, development and property investment fund management across all property asset classes. His strengths lay in his strategic planning, financial modelling, data analysis and investment development skills. Leo is an outcome-focused individual with proven experience in working collaboratively, leading, and guiding construction and property professionals.

Previously the Queensland and Western Australia State Management of VIC Investment Management Group, Leo was responsible for the identification, financial modelling, acquisition and delivery of property and fixed assets strategy. Whist fostering staff development, he has demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary consultant teams in preparing acquisition and project documentation in addition to overseeing governance reporting to the board, investment committee and external investors including regulatory authorities.

As Senior Development Manager, Leo utilises the development and investment expertise of the investLogan team to construct a project pipeline delivering development and investment that generate social, environmental and economic value to the Logan community.

Christina Hii

Company Accountant

Christina is a CPA qualified Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Finance. With more than 20 years’ experience predominately in the property industry, Christina is well versed in all financial accounting practices.

In previous roles, Christina has been involved in all aspects of financial accounting and management including financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, analysis, cashflow, EOFY processes, payroll, banking and more.

With strong skills in strategic planning, problem solving and team leadership, Christina is highly analytical and detail oriented, committed to the success of any organisation she works for. Valuing collaboration, respect, innovation, integrity and diversity, Christina brings these core values in identifying and capitalizing on strengths in the organisation.

As investLogan’s Company Accountant, Christina will work closely with the executive team to ensure the financial accounting of the business is best practice, aligning with investLogan’s mission of financial, social and community enrichment for the City of Logan.
