investLogan facilitates collaboration in Logan

Showcasing its willingness to foster a more collaborative business culture in the Logan community, investLogan is now providing a meeting space for organisations, associations and groups to come together to discuss issues that are important to the region.

Logan City Council was fortunate to be the first organisation to utilise this space for its inaugural Industry Investment Roundtable event, focusing on the Hotel and Short Term Accommodation industry.

Logan City Council Business Development Officer Thomas Handford said the meeting space was perfect for bringing stakeholders together to discuss future strategic projects in Logan.

“The inaugural event was attended by leading hotel groups, developers, local landholders and prominent local businesses, including the Brisbane Roar and John Deere,” Mr Handford said.

“The event was designed to provide a platform for interaction and knowledge-sharing amongst these groups, with Council interested in understanding drivers of the industry, the effectiveness of its incentives and to impart a sense of the scale of growth and demand that the region is seeing within the corporate and tourism sectors.”
