Working in collaboration with registered charitable organisation JOII Limited and Burchill’s Engineering Solutions, investLogan has facilitated the approval of a recent development application for a Cafe that will assist vulnerable Logan community members find their feet.
The proposed outlet is situated within an established commercial and light industrial complex on Nevilles Street in Underwood, nearby the arterial roads of Compton Road and Kingston Road.
JOII Limited is focused on providing on-the-job training and employment opportunities for marginalised members of the community and their Cafe will expose staff to a range of valuable life skills, including teamwork, customer service, food service and handling of currency.
There are nine similarly sized tenancies in the complex with an estimated 300 employees who will have walk-in access to the Cafe, with sales to support JOII Limited’s social enterprise.
