BYCC After Dark event highlights vast investment opportunity in Beenleigh

investLogan’s Chief Executive Officer Todd Rohl was excited to speak at the Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce After Dark Event held at the Beenleigh Rum Distillery on Friday 12 April.

The event inspired conversations about the future of Beenleigh and how investLogan, with the support of the Logan City Council, will contribute to the further advancement of the area through strategic investments, such as The York, at 96-98 York Street.

Mr Rohl said investLogan was committed to not only delivering strong financial returns for the people of Beenleigh and the greater Logan area, but also creating significant social, community and economic benefits for the City of Logan.

“investLogan is about investing in social and community capital that will maximise our contribution to the Logan community,” Mr Rohl said.

The event focused on the prospects and economic strength of Beenleigh and the City of Logan as a whole.

“With median house prices continuing to grow and a recent boom in Logan’s economy, the region is showing an unprecedented level of confidence in economic strength and opportunity.

“It’s predicted that the City of Logan’s economic strength will continue to increase and will be underpinned by investment and growth in retail, health, construction and manufacturing.

“As one of Logan’s major employment centres, the suburb of Beenleigh highlights a wealth of opportunity for potential investments,” he said.

investLogan is progressing several development opportunities in the area, particularly to the John Lane interface in Beenleigh’s CBD.

The development will feature the first new office commercial building to be constructed in the last 10 years and is estimated to add $40m to the local economy.

“It is our vision to be part of the revitalisation of Beenleigh as a compact and vibrant hub for the surrounding community,” Mr Rohl said.

“investLogan plans to transform the streets of Beenleigh that will deliver attractive streetscapes and create new local business opportunities.

“The project presents an opportunity to be part of creating a destination and will also play a part in drawing future investments to Beenleigh.”
